Lyrebird Arts Council presents Alex Lloyd

With special guest Hamish Anderson

Twenty-five years on, Watching Angels Mend still feels like a record that found people when they needed it most — honest, melodic, and quietly fearless. Released at the turn of the century, it became a defining chapter in Alex Lloyd’s story: songs that travelled far beyond their original rooms, soundchecks, and late-night scribbles, and into the lives of strangers who somehow knew every word.

Lyrebird Arts Council Presents Leah Senior and her band

Australian folk diviner Leah Senior makes her way to Meeniyan Town Hall with her band in June to launch her fifth studio album Pt. Roadknight.

Pt. Roadknight explores Leah’s introspective, nature-loving side while honing the singular baroque psych folk that has captivated listeners around the world. While the style and instrumentation of ‘70s Brit folk are touchstones on Senior’s forthcoming album, her disarming lyrics are fresh and wholehearted, wrestling with modern concerns of gentrification and isolation while finding solace in the quiet beauty of the Victoria surf coast town where she lives.
