Marty Gras

The most colourful event in the Prom country area!

Meeniyan Marty Gras, founded by Marty Thomas, is the town’s biggest and most sparkly annual fundraising event.

Held at the Meeniyan Town Hall on Saturday 25th October 2025, this year's event will be the sixth of its kind, and is expected to attract 250+ party goers. It began in 2018 to mark the 50th birthdays of founder Marty and his close friend Kym.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their most outrageous and colourful outfits, embracing the theme behind Marty Gras’ namesake event.
