Meeniyan Hall was built in 1939 by community subscription and is managed by a voluntary committee, the Meeniyan Mechanics Institute Inc.

The Hall is maintained through the work of many people in our local community who give their time to the Meeniyan Area Community Shop.

Meeniyan Hall has twice won Best Regional Music Venue Award from Music Victoria thanks to the untiring work of volunteers at Lyrebird Arts Council who have presented live music performance for over 20 years and counting.

Our Hall has been a place of dancing, music and community events for as long as it’s stood in Meeniyan’s main street, and we welcome everyone.
