Day in the Dahlias

With about 600 people attending, including a bus load from Sale & even a maxi taxi bringing people to the event. The scone makers in Fay’s kitchen were kept extremely busy & had to nick into Meeniyan for more flour. Brent is the dahlia enthusiast, selling potted dahlias and also beautiful bunches of dahlias and had to make more posies up as the day went on as so popular and in demand. Brent is already planning on planting more. People of all ages enjoyed the day walking among the rows of beautiful dahlias of varied sizes, shapes and colours. Meeniyan Progress Association put on this fantastic event in conjunction with Brent and would like to thank the Sinclair family for allowing us to host it on their beautiful property.
